OUR AIMS

The aims of the Society are to reduce the current epidemic levels of cancer by reducing human exposure to carcinogens, particularly those of man-made origin. Unlike other cancer charities, our primary purpose is to prevent people from getting cancer in the first place.

Raising Awareness

The best estimate is that 75,000 different synthetic chemicals are now in regular use. Of these, only about 1.5 - 3 % have been tested for carcinogenicity.

Many of these synthetic chemicals are persistent and accumulate in body fat. The society's main purpose is to raise public and medical awareness about the dangers these substances pose.
